The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is a North Carolina landmark. This photograph which was taken late in the afternoon in November was prior to the lighthouse being moved to its current location further back from the beach.

Beach Access
LA-03 Anticipation (Beach Access)

I titled this phtograph "Anticipation" because it reminds me of the thrill I always felt when we finally arrived at the beach for vacation and when i went up the hill I'd see the ocean.

Dune and Fence
LA-05 Dune and Fence

This is perhaps my most generic photograph because this type of fencing is used to control dune erosion all along the coastal states. I have people ask me if was taken at beaches from New England through Florida.

Fall Colors
LA-05 Woodland Path in the Fall

Living in Florida, I don't see scenes like this without traveling. While I don't really care for the cooler weather I do like the colors of fall. 5

Power lines on a foggy morning
LA-12 Power lines on a Foggy Morning #2

While the sun through the fog is less bright in this one than the previous photograph, the lush green of the woods appealed to me.
Picture Size
